Vanderbilt University's Peabody College offers the most highly ranked graduate-level education program in the United States, according to U.S. News and World Report's college rankings report for 2010. Collegecrunch.com's 2009 rankings for the best 20 colleges for education majors also ranked Peabody's program well, giving it 11th place. Peabody offers undergraduate degrees, including those in early childhood education and secondary education, and makes real teaching opportunities available early in the curriculum. Stanford University tied with Harvard for third-best school in the United States for education degrees in the U.S. News and World Report 2010 edition. The Collegecrunch.com 2009 college rankings for top education schools also ranked Stanford's programs highly; the college came in fourth in those rankings.
