The 34-credit MBA program at Minnesota State University, Mankato, focuses on applying strategies learned in the classroom to real-world examples, developing effective communication strategies and analyzing global, regional and local business trends. Minnesota State Mankato tuition and fees for the MBA program, as of May 2010, totaled $531 per credit hour for Minnesota residents and $723 per credit hour for non-residents. The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth offers an MBA program that combines a broad business education with one of four concentrations: business leadership, IT leadership, finance or marketing. The St. Scholastica MBA program requires 40 credit hours. The program finishes with a capstone project: either a faculty-directed conceptual project, a study-abroad seminar or a research thesis. As of May 2010, tuition was estimated at $445 per credit plus fees and the cost of living.
