The full-time MBA program at the McCombs School offers specialties in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Information, Risk and Operations Management and Marketing. The McCombs School also offers students real-world opportunities while working on the MBA, such as practicums, opportunities for international studies and individually-tailored projects via the Texas MBA + Leadership Program.
The McCombs School also offers a 24-month MBA program geared toward working professionals in Houston. Students take classes on alternating Fridays and Saturdays in the program, which features the same curriculum and faculty as the MBA program on the Austin campus.
Similar to the MBA program in Houston, the McCombs School also offers an MBA program in Dallas/Fort Worth. The Dallas/Fort Worth MBA follows the same format as the Houston MBA (24 months, with courses offered on alternating Fridays and Saturdays), allowing working professionals to continue their full-time careers while pursing the MBA degree.
The McCombs Executive MBA Program is geared toward working, mid-career professionals seeking an advanced degree. The 21-month program offers classes on the Fridays and Saturdays of alternating weekends, and allows students to continue working while earning the equivalent to the McCombs School full-time MBA.
In addition to the MBA programs offered in Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston, the McCombs School has partnered with the Tecnologico de Monterrey-Campus Santa Fe to offer a joint MBA from UT-Austin and Master's of Administration from the Tecnologico de Monterrey-Campus Santa Fe. Like the Executive MBA program on the Austin campus, the Mexico City MBA caters to mid-career professionals, but focuses specifically on Mexican and Latin American business environments.
The Texas Evening MBA is a 33-month program offered on Monday and Tuesday evenings on the Austin campus. This MBA program caters specifically to professionals and rising managers who wish to pursue MBA study while maintaining their careers full time. As with the other McCombs MBA programs, the Evening MBA program advertises the same academic rigor and faculty quality as the full-time Texas MBA.
