Liberty University was founded in 1971 and began offering online degree programs in 1985. It provides online programs for high school students, associate, bachelor, master’s, doctoral and postgraduate degree programs.
High school students in the 11th and 12th grades may take online courses for credit towards a bachelor’s degree while in high school. The courses are $500 each. In addition to this, Liberty has an Online Academy for youth in grades 3-12.
