Schools for Childhood Education

For those that are looking to pursue careers as teachers, one suitable way to start the path is by completing an early childhood education degree program at a college or university. Early childhood education degrees consist of detailed courses on subjects such as childhood psychology, writing and reading skills, family and children, special needs children and child observation.
  1. Indiana University

In existence since 1889, the school offers an extensive elementary education program that is suitable for young children between kindergarten and sixth grade.
