Every year, The Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation awards approximately 80 scholarships of $5,000 and 50 honorable mention scholarships of $350 to college sophomores and juniors. These students must demonstrate that they are pursuing careers relating to the environment, tribal public policy or Native American health care. The scholarship is listed on Baylor University's website as a grant choice for students in the undergraduate nursing program.

Baylor University Women's Council of Dallas offers yearly grants to students in the Dallas area through the Anita and Dale Jones Endowed Scholarship Fund. The scholarships are open to current Baylor students who live in the Dallas area. While the scholarship is open to all majors and based on academic standing, nursing students are encouraged to apply.

Baylor University suggests students in the medical field apply for a scholarship from The National Institutes of Health. The organization provides full- and part-time scholarships for select students in health-related research fields. The scholarship also enables awardees to attend a paid 10-week summer laboratory and get paid employment and training with National Institutes of Health after graduation.
