The United States Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) offers several grants to nursing students. The National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program is available to students enrolled or accepted at an accredited health profession training program and covers tuition, living costs and other educational costs. In return, students must work for two to four years in an area that has a proven shortage of health care professionals.
