The University of Missouri offers an accelerated baccalaureate nursing program that lasts for 15 months of full-time study. Students who complete this program are qualified to take the registered nursing licensure exam and have earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Students in this program are required to take courses within the curriculum, including nursing skills, technologies and simulation; foundations for nursing assessment and nursing process; nursing of childbearing family; nursing ethics and the law; and nursing issues, leadership and management.

The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey has an accelerated baccalaureate nursing program that, upon completion, leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. After students have completed this program, they are prepared to take the licensure examination to become registered nurses. During the pre-licensing phase of the program, students are required to attend the program on a full-time schedule. Students take courses in health informatics; foundations of nursing practice; health promotion in a multicultural society; and gerontological nursing. Students also take other nursing classes that include women's health and newborn nursing; policy and politics in health care systems; community health nursing; and nursing leadership and management.

The Medical University of South Carolina has an accelerated baccalaureate nursing program that lasts for four semesters, for a total of 16 months on a full-time schedule. This program prepares students to become registered nurses. This program admits 60 students in the spring and fall semesters of each year. Students take courses in principles of pathophysiology; professional nursing and nursing practice; psychiatric and mental health nursing; and population focused nursing. Students also take other nursing classes including nursing care with children and their families; health care systems and policy; and leadership and management in nursing.
