Students enrolled at Phoenix College can get their Associate in Applied Science in Advanced Emergency Medical Technology (Paramedic). This program provides students with advanced techniques in emergency care, stabilization and immobilization of patients.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will have the training to perform physical examinations, recognize symptoms and diagnose illnesses and injuries. Practical techniques learned include electrocardiograph rhythm identification, defibrillation, and advanced airway techniques.

Get an Associate of Arts with a concentration in Health Care Administration at the University of Phoenix in as little as nine weeks. Students will learn all about health-care organizations, public policy, and regulatory and ethical issues of health care. Students interested in staying in the school for their bachelor's degree in nursing can continue to do so as the University of Phoenix offers many different areas of nursing emphasis, and another bridge program for registered nurses to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing.
