Inver Hills Community College offers a partially online paralegal program where students can choose to obtain a certificate or an Associate's in Science degree for paralegal studies. Students are expected to attend a traditional class for at least half of their courses, approximately every other week on a regular schedule during the regular school year; during the summer students must attend a traditional class about once every week. The program is not self-paced;p students must complete coursework and read the lectures as scheduled. It is estimated that students can expected to spend at least one hour per credit per week for online study in addition to two to three hours per credit for homework.
