Santa Ana College offers a two-year associate of science degree. In addition to its on-campus program, an online and evening/weekend option is available. Lectures are delivered through online multimedia with laboratory coursework held on campus two evenings a week or on Saturdays. Coursework includes psychology, applied kinesiology, medical terminology, pathophysiology, physical and psychological function and dysfunction, the psychsociology of work and fieldwork training.

Darton College offers an associate degree in occupational therapy assisting that is “partially online.” Most requirements are available through a variety of instructional technologies, including televised lectures and video streaming. Several courses, including hands-on fieldwork training, must be completed on campus, at another college or in a professional clinical setting.
