Boston University is relatively new to the online degree field, but, at the time of writing, offers eight master's degrees fully online. Students can complete two of these programs, a master's of criminal justice and a master's of science in health communication, in a year on an accelerated track. Both degrees require 10 courses, and a full course load is four to five classes each semester. A dedicated student can complete either degree in 12 months.
