Occupational Therapy Master's Programs in Illinois

Employment opportunities for licensed occupational therapists will grow much faster than average compared to all other occupations, according to http://www.healthguideusa.org. To become licensed, you must complete the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Exam. The board also recommends you have a post-baccalaureate degree from a U.S.-accredited program, such as a master's in occupational therapy.     • University of Illinois at Chicago's Department of Occupational Therapy offers a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy. This two-year program will lead to a Master's degree and certification in occupational therapy.

    Rush University

    • The Master of Science degree program in occupational therapy at Rush University offers both full-time and part-time enrollment options. Students can also choose to take an optional master's thesis elective course. According to the Rush website, the program provides scientific and professional education for occupational therapists planning to practice in medical, educational and community-based settings.
