The Master of Science degree program in occupational therapy at Rush University offers both full-time and part-time enrollment options. Students can also choose to take an optional master's thesis elective course. According to the Rush website, the program provides scientific and professional education for occupational therapists planning to practice in medical, educational and community-based settings.

The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education has continually accredited this program since 1984. The program is quite extensive and prepares students to work as skilled clinicians, managers, entrepreneurs and educators.
