Washington University operates a “3-2” occupational therapy program in which undergraduate students complete three years of college, then come to Washington University for two years to earn an MSOT. The University of Southern California’s graduate program in occupational therapy has three master’s degree options for students. The third-ranking graduate program, according to U.S. News & World Report, has a bachelor’s to master’s option for USC undergraduates who want to earn an MSOT. There is a one-year program for those who are already practicing in the field but do not have an MSOT. USC’s two-year master’s is a traditional entry-level professional master’s program leading to an MSOT. Admission requirements vary for each program, but all applicants must submit GRE scores. Financial aid is available, and USC offers merit-based support and teaching assistantships. Tuition for the 2010-11 school year totaled $20,192.
