How to Test for a Typing Certificate

Obtaining a typing certification provides greater opportunities for secretaries, clerks and office managers. While it is not necessary to take classes before taking a typing certification, it will be helpful. Practice tests are also available for those who want to practice their skills before trying for a certification. While some certifications are available online, many employers require getting a face-to-face certification. These can be received through community colleges and employment agencies.
