The Accuplacer test is an assessment test that provides useful information about a student's academic skills in math, English and reading. The results of the test are reviewed, along with the academic background, goals and interests of the student, by an academic adviser or counselor. This information is used to help decide which classes the student should take in college. It is important for students to do their best, but there is no "pass" or "fail."
