How to Take the Accuplacer

The Accuplacer test is a computer-based test that covers high school level math and reading. Given to help place incoming college students in appropriate courses, this test is required of many incoming students based on their SAT and ACT scores sent to the school. If students are required to take the Accuplacer, they are unable to register for most courses until the registration office receives the test results. Students should aim for the best score possible so they are not required to take unnecessary remedial coursework.
