According to its website, students who wish to transfer to Chapman University are expected to have completed a minimum of three years of mathematics in high school, including advanced algebra with a "C" average or better or college level intermediate algebra with a grade of "C" or better. Some majors require
additional preparation in mathematics before admission, therefore, applicants should have the Chapman University Quantitative Inquiry completed prior to transfer.
Certified copies of high school transcripts and proof of graduation are required for all transfer students unless they are seeking a second bachelor's degree or have more than 60 transferable units from another accredited college or university. Faxed replications or copies that are not deemed as certified will not be accepted.
For prospective students who have completed fewer than 24 units from another accredited college or university, a certified copy of the student's high school record and results from the SAT or ACT are required as they will also be considered in the admission decision. Faxed replications or copies that are not deemed as certified will not be accepted.
According to the Chapman University website, prospective students who fail to complete all transferable general education requirements or all prerequisite requirements elsewhere, will fail to meet Chapman University's student requirements and will not be admitted. As a result, Chapman University strongly urges all prospective students to take full advantage of the university's general education program.
According to Chapman University standards, prospective students who wish to transfer to Chapman University from another accredited college or university must be in good standing and not under any form of academic or disciplinary probation or
suspension from the last school attended. Students who fail to meet these requirements do not meet Chapman University standards and will not be admitted.
