Students at the University of Waterloo in the architecture program complete a four-year Pre-Professional Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Honours Cooperative Degree, then immediately move on to a one-year Master of Architecture Degree. Coursework includes topics such as Principles of Environmental Design, Building Construction, Digital Tools for Industrial and Graphic Design, Principles of Structures, Architecture of the Urban Environment and Structural Design Build. Department facilities include a design library with rare architecture books, workshops, studios and labs. Students may appreciate the knowledge that 100 percent of Waterloo students are employed six months after graduation.

The University of Toronto: Architecture, Landscape and Design offers an undergraduate bachelors of architecture design program and three masters programs: architecture, landscape architecture and urban design. Coursework includes Urban Plant Ecosystems, Contemporary Issues in Urban Design, Landscape Design Research Methods, Introduction to Furniture Design, Intermediate Computer Applications and Introductory Design. Program enrollees have a number of resources, including a model workshop, computer labs, galleries, prototype laboratory, library and writing assistance. The school also offers visiting lecturers and exhibitions/competitions.

Earn a degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph (a four-year bachelors degree and a three-year masters degree are available).
