Boston Architectural College

• Located in Boston's Back Bay, the Boston Architectural College offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture as well as interior design and design studies. Students may choose between earning a bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, among other degree programs. Architectural courses include foundation design, arch and design history, structures, and architectural programming and codes, to name a few courses. The school takes great pride in offering classroom instruction combined with practical hands-on experience. The school enrolls approximately 1,300 part-time and full-time students.

Harvard School of Design

• Harvard University's School of Design offers many programs in architecture, including traditional architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and urban planning. The school provides students with the opportunity to earn undergraduate and graduate degrees. There are also several continuing education programs such as career discovery and executive education programs. Prospective students who are interested in studying architecture can earn a master of architecture in urban design. Courses include building technology, issues in the practice of architecture, analysis and design of building structures, and environmental technologies in buildings, to name a few topics.

MIT Department of Architecture

• The Department of Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology offers undergraduate and graduate programs in architecture. Prospective students can choose between bachelor degrees in architecture design, building technology, or history and theory of architecture. Master's programs include the master of architecture and a master of science in architecture studies. Graduate courses include architecture design, energy in building design, case studies in city form, and building technology seminar, to name a few possibilities.
