Several public and private colleges and universities in Colorado offer degree programs in architecture and related fields.     • The University of Colorado at Boulder is a public research university that was founded in 1876. The university now functions as the University of Colorado System's flagship institution. The university's College of Architecture and Planning offers bachelor's degree programs for undergraduates. Students enter the architecture program as Bachelor of Environmental Design students, but, once they have completed the required introductory courses, go on to select a concentration. Available concentrations include architecture, planning and urban design, and design studies.     University of Colorado Denver College of Architecture and Planning

    • The University of Colorado Denver is a public research university that was founded in 1912. The university belongs to the University of Colorado System. The school's College of Architecture and Planning offers a variety of degree programs for graduate students. The college contains four primary departments, including architecture, planning, landscape architecture and environmental design. Graduate students can work toward the Master of Architecture (MArch) degree or a master's degree in urban and regional planning, landscape architecture or urban design.     The Art Institute of Colorado

    • The Art Institute of Colorado is a private arts college that was founded in 1952. The school is now a branch of the school system known as the Art Institutes. The Art Institute of Colorado's design program offers several degree programs in architecture-related fields. Students can work toward an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in kitchen and bath design, or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in industrial design or interior design.
