    • The University of Michigan is located in the heart of Ann Arbor. This top-rated school also has a top-rated architectural program. The Taubman College of Architecture offers many classes in architecture and engineering to ensure that every student graduates with a vast knowledge of the subject. There are many courses that future students of the college can choose from, including basic drawing, graphic communications, history of architecture, environmental technology, and 20th-century architecture, among dozens of others. The hands-on approach, different events, and exhibits will allow any student to grasp the program from every different angle.

    University of Detroit Mercy

    • Located in the heart of Detroit, the University of Detroit Mercy is known for its outstanding schools in dentistry, law, and architecture. This Catholic University's School of Architecture offers two different degrees. The first is the bachelor of science degree in architecture, which is a four-year program. The second degree is a five-year masters of architecture degree, accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board. Students will learn about architectural engineering, urban planing, the history of architecture, and visual communications (among many other aspects of architecture) in these programs.
