Delaware County Community College serves Delaware and Chester counties at six locations, four of which are in Chester County, including its Downington Campus. Students of Harrisburg Area Community College may attend classes at the Lancaster Campus, located about 20 miles from Chester County. This college offers diplomas, certificates and associate degrees through 21 departments. From the arts to sociology, students have several choices within each discipline.
Students who earn an associate degree through the Lancaster campus may finish a bachelor's degree at one of three area colleges and universities through the degree completer program.
