Junior Colleges in Pennsylvania

Junior colleges, more commonly called community colleges, provide options for Pennsylvania students who want to keep the cost of college down by attending a less expensive two-year school or who wish to complete a two-year degree and begin working. Junior colleges throughout the state offer a wide variety of programs that prepare students for employment or to advance to a four-year college or university.

The dual admissions program guarantees acceptance to students who commit to a four-year school early in their CCP career. The core-to-core program allows students to satisfy all of an institution's core general education requirements while studying at CCP. Program-to-program lets students obtain advanced standing at a four-year college or university on the basis of an associate degree earned at CCP.
