While not part of the University of Hawai’i system, Hawai’i Tokai International College provides students with the opportunity to transfer their two-year liberal arts degree to American four-year universities or to begin baccalaureate study at HTI and then transfer to Tokai University in Japan. Students without sufficient English-language skills may enroll in the college preparatory program before beginning the liberal arts course of study.
