    • The University of Houston is another nationally recognized college. "U.S. News" ranked the program as a fourth-tier institution nationwide. The University of Houston serves over 36,000 students yearly. The school offers over 100 undergraduate majors and over 100 graduate programs of study. UH business students have the opportunity to pursue their master's of business administration degree entirely online. UH is a leading research institution with over 40 different research centers in nearly every academic discipline.

    Texas Southern University

    • Texas Southern University is a third option for Houston area students. TSU is one of the nation's largest historically black educational institutions. The college enrolls over 9,500 students annually in a variety of disciplines. Leading academic disciplines include the law program, which has been nationally recognized for its diversity, and the pharmacy program, which has played a key role in educating a large portion of the nation's African-American pharmacists. Texas Southern's law school was ranked as a second-tier law school by lawschool100.com, and webometrics rated the entire university in the top 30 percent of the world's top 8,000 universities.
