Marine Corps ROTC Programs

The Naval ROTC program awards scholarships that pay for tuition, university fees, textbooks, uniforms and monthly stipends to train candidates for careers as officers. While enrolled in the program, students are required to complete a normal course load, as well as participate in physical training, Naval Science courses, field training and summer training programs. The Marine Corp does not have its own ROTC program. Instead, the Naval ROTC offers the Marine Corp Option to students who ultimately want to join the Marines. Upon graduation students earn a commission in the Marines as a Second Lieutenant. Naval ROTC (NROTC) programs follow the same basic model and are available at more than 150 university and college campuses around the country.
