Two Year RN Schools

Those looking to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse (RN) must obtain the necessary classroom and practical training. Typically, these programs are two years in length and lead to an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). There are many colleges throughout the U.S. that offer such programs.
  1. Madison Area Technical College

    • Located in Madison, Wisconsin, Madison Area Technical College offers a two-year RN program leading to an associate degree in nursing. The full-time, four-semester program is offered at three of the college's campuses: Reedsburg, Truax and Watertown. Classes start each year in the spring and fall. Classes and clinical rotations are held during the day, Monday through Friday.

    Broward Community College

    • Broward Community College, in Coconut Creek, Florida, offers a two-year, full-time RN program leading to an associate of science in nursing. The four-semester program, for a total of 72 credits, starts annually in the fall. Classes meet during the day, Monday through Friday. Clinical rotations are typically on weekdays, but are occasionally scheduled during the evening or on the weekends.

    Yakima Valley Community College

    • Yakima Valley Community College, located in Yakima, Washington, offers a two-year RN program leading to an associate degree in nursing. The full-time program is six quarters in length. Upon completion of the fourth quarter, students are eligible to take the licensing exam to become an LPN. Classes start annually in the fall and spring. Classes and clinical rotations meet during the day, Monday through Friday.
