Two Year Nursing Schools

There are a number of schools where you can obtain an associate degree in nursing. Students will acquire knowledge in patient care, medications and how to provide emotional and practical support for patients as well as the requirements to further their education. The degree also enables graduates to take the exam to be licensed.
  1. Rasmussen College School of Nursing

    • The Rasmussen College School of Nursing offers two-year programs for nursing in the areas of practical nursing or professional nursing and also have the choice to further your education online. Locations for the practical nursing degree are Florida and Minnesota, and the professional nursing degree can be obtained at the Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin locations.

    New England Institute of Technology

    • The New England Institute of Technology in Warwick, R.I., offers a two-year nursing program that provides students with the education for entry-level positions as well as the opportunity to work as a registered nurse. Students have the choice of entering the 21-month program or the 15-month program which is designed for people who have completed required liberal arts courses and need to take the nursing courses. Upon graduation you will be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses.

    Brown Mackie College

    • Brown Mackie College offers two nursing programs, nursing and practical nursing. The Associate of Applied Nursing degree is offered at the school's locations in Fort Wayne, Ind.; Kansas City, Mo.; and Salina, Kan.; and the practical nursing degree can be obtained at numerous campuses in Cincinnati, Kansas City and Akron and North Canton, Ohio.

    Chamberlain College of Nursing

    • The Chamberlain College of Nursing campus in Columbus, Ohio, offers an Associate of Nursing degree. After the second year, students may take the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses to obtain a nursing license or enter the school's LPN to RN bridge program. Students can also take the courses online but are required to complete the clinical hours on campus.
