    Royal Irish Academy of Music

    • The Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin, established in 1848 as one of the first academic music institutions in the country, offers a variety of degrees in music: doctorate, master's and bachelor degrees in music performance, a bachelor of composition, a bachelor of music education and a general music diploma. These options provide students a variety of career options upon graduation from RIAM. Many students join one or more of the academy's eight performing groups, whether the percussion ensemble, symphony orchestra, strings ensemble, or the choral group.
