    • The Julliard School in New York City is dedicated solely to performing arts education. It offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in music, including a Bachelor of Music, a three-year diploma, a Master of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts.     • Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. is ranked first of all national universities in the United States by "U.S. News and World Report." Its Department of Music offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, including a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts in performance practice and a doctoral degree with concentrations in historical musicology, ethnomusicology, music theory and composition.
