The school also was ranked as having the some of the best graduate programs. Accrediting organizations—such as the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission—accredit the school. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education accredits Towson University through a peer-review process. One of the departments at the university is the Department of Nursing, which offers three nursing programs for students—Nursing Basic Program, RN to BS in Nursing and the Nursing Master’s Program.
