Ohio University offers nursing programs on the certificate, undergraduate and graduate level. The undergraduate programs include an associate degree in nursing, a Bachelor of Science in nursing, and a bachelor's program designed for current registered nurses called the RN to BSN. Ohio University's Master of Science in nursing offers three concentrations: nurse administrator, nurse educator and family nurse practitioner. Students can also achieve a school nurse certificate or a gerontology certificate at either the undergraduate or graduate level. The associate nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, and the bachelor's and master's programs are accredited by the Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education.

University of Toledo has programs designed for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level students. The Bachelor of Science in nursing includes the junior and senior years of a baccalaureate nursing program; students who wish to enroll may complete two years at the University of Toledo or Bowling Green State University and then transfer to the the nursing program, or become a RN and achieve an associate degree or hospital diploma from a nursing program elsewhere and transfer the credits. The school also offers a Master of Science in nursing with concentrations that include adult nurse practitioner and pediatric nurse practitioner. University of Toledo's Doctor of Nursing Practice program is offered in an online, part-time format. The undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The college of nursing at the University of Akron offers four unique formats for the Bachelor of Science in nursing degree: Programs designed specifically for licensed practical nurses and registered nurses, an accelerated program for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree and a traditional four-year program. The Master of Science in nursing program can be completed with one of four specialization options, including psychiatric mental health and nurse anesthesia. A Ph.D. joint nursing program is offered between University of Akron and Kent State University. It can be completed in three years if attended full-time. The college of nursing at University of Akron is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education .
