Located in Casa Grande, Centuries of Caring is a small private school offering CNA training classes several times per year as enough interest develops to warrant holding a class. At least eight students are required for a class. Classes are held during the daytime hours Mondays through Fridays for three weeks. The first two weeks are spent in the classroom. The last week is spent at a nearby nursing home, allowing students to practice the clinical skills that they learned in the classroom.

Central Arizona College, located in Apache Junction, offers CNA training programs during the spring, fall and summer semesters. Students have the option of enrolling in classes that meet for a half-day two days per week or full day classes held on Saturdays. The program, which is worth six college credits, meets in the classroom for the first half of the semester, while the second half is spent at area hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and nursing homes to allow students to practice clinical skills.

Located in Coolidge, the Central Arizona Valley Institute of Technology offers a variety of vocational programs to high school students. Students who choose to become a CNA may take classes during the course of a semester. Approximately two-thirds of the semester is spent learning in the classroom setting and one-third is spent at area hospitals, clinics and nursing homes practicing clinical skills.
