    School of Journalism and Broadcasting at Oklahoma State University

    • The School of Journalism and Broadcasting at Oklahoma State University offers a sports media degree, which is one of the few undergraduate sports journalism degrees in the country. Because Oklahoma State University is a major sports school, sports media students have first-hand access to sports events. Students are able to major in sports media with a concentration in one of the following: sports broadcasting, sports journalism or sports public relations and promotion.     • The Boston University Sports Institute offers a masters-level program in sports journalism. Sports journalism students focus on practical writing, where they learn to cover major games; write sports features, columns and sports figure profiles; and write distinctive sports copy.     Penn State: The John Curley Center for Sports Journalism

    • The John Curley Center for Sports Journalism at Penn State designs its curriculum around trends in sports journalism, allowing students to learn the most up-to-date reporting techniques.
