Top Journalism Colleges in India

Journalism is a growing career prospect in India, where the job is associated with glamour and stature. According to India Education (a national education service), rapid expansion of media and technology since the early 1990s has resulted in Indian broadcasters and newspapers churning out new channels and publications. In turn, growing competition amongst news-makers has triggered a greater demand for impressive journalists. As of May 2010, there were 142 journalism colleges in India.
