Acharya Nagarjuna University, formerly Nagarjuna University, was established in 1976 and is located between the city of Vijayawada and Guntur in the Andhra Pradesh state of South India. The main college campus is located on 293 acres of land there are two postgraduate centers that are located off the main campus location at Nuzvid and Ongole. The university offers a variety of degrees such as BA, BSc, Bcom, BBA, BCA, an law degrees and offers a variety of majors including engineering, mathematics, chemistry and life sciences. Acharya Nagarjuna University also offers an online distance learning program for students outside of the region.
