LPN Classes Offered at Junior Colleges in Illinois

Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) are professionals who provide basic nursing care while being supervised by registered nurses and doctors in a variety of health care settings such as clinics, nursing homes and doctor's offices. LPN programs typically result in a diploma or certificate and prepare individuals for the National Council Licensing Examination, Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN) to become licensed.
