Fresno Pacific University is a fully-accredited Christian institution emphasizing spiritual and ethical development. The university offers bachelor and master degree programs in business, education, natural sciences, humanities and religion. The downtown campus has more than 3,000 students, including about 1,000 undergraduates. About 200 students attend the university's Biblical Seminary, where programs are directed toward careers as pastors and counselors.
California Christian College has about 35 full-time students participating in programs integrating biblical and general education. The school offers associate and bachelor degrees emphasizing the Bible and Christian ministry, aimed at developing "contagious Christians committed to servant-leadership in the likeness of Christ," its website states.
Canyon Hills Bible College seeks students who are born-again Christians seeking a closer walk with God. The college is accredited with the International Christian Accrediting Association, and offers programs leading to a certificate of progress, a ministerial arts diploma and an associate of ministry degree. Hands-on ministry training is available in the Canyon Hills Assembly of God. he college's main campus is in Bakersfield. Its Fresno campus offers classes only on Thursdays.
