As technology becomes more readily accessible, electronic books (eBook) have started to replace print copies. Many students often use digital databases to conduct research. To give credit to the author(s) and their publications, you need to cite the sources. The "Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association" (APA) updated the formatting rules of referencing electronic publishing in the current 6th edition. The APA recommends you include as much electronic retrieval information as possible when citing digital sources. The APA formatting style of eBook is similar to the formatting style of print books, but you must state the web address or DOI identifier for where the eBook is located.
