How to Cite a Professor in APA

The American Psychological Association created APA style to provide a standardized and uniform method of writing research documents and cite sources. The APA style for citations is predominantly concerned with sources of information in print and other forms of media, but it also outlines a comparatively minimal method of citing information obtained through interactions with others, such as a lecture by or a conversation with a professor.
