How to Cite a Law in APA

If you are a student of the social sciences, it is likely that your professor has asked you to adhere to American Psychological Association (APA) citation guidelines when writing term papers. However, even if you are familiar with the basics of APA style, you may find yourself needing to occasionally cite unfamiliar types of sources. For instance, the citation of laws may be a challenge. Luckily, the American Psychological Association sets out guidelines for the proper citation of both state and federal statutes.
