How to Cite Editorial Staff in APA

The American Psychological Association (APA) publishes guidelines for the citation of books and other sources of information. If you are writing primarily within the social sciences, it is likely that your professor has asked you to write term papers that conform to APA guidelines. If the source you are citing is edited by a person other than the author, your citation must reflect that. The exact format your citation must take will depend on whether the book you are citing has an author and editor, or only an editor.
