According to the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, applicants will be assessed by a panel of judges on such things as financial need, ambition, test scores, grades and their reason for wishing to study this major. If applicants are accepted, they can receive up to $30,000 a year. Fifty students are accepted annually.
