The Go Grant is a need-based scholarship that is awarded to students who are 25 or older and are reentering an undergraduate degree program at an accredited Louisiana college or university. Applicants must have been out of school for at least two semesters, qualify for a Federal Pell Grant or be able to demonstrate financial need. Qualifying students may receive up to $2,000 per academic year depending on enrollment status.

Louisiana Tech University's Division of Nursing sponsors a number of scholarships, including the Virginia Pennington Endowed Scholarship, which is intended for nursing students 25 or older. Applicants must be enrolled in their second year of an associate degree program in nursing and have a minimum 2.8 GPA. The Monroe-West Monroe Business and Professional Women (BPW) sponsors several scholarships for nontraditional female students who plan to enroll at an accredited Louisiana college or university. The Monroe-West Monroe BPW Scholarship, the BPW/USA Career Advancement Scholarship and the Agnes Morris Education Scholarship are available to nontraditional female students over the age of 25 who are enrolling in an accredited college or university for the first time or returning to complete their education.
