Established in 1992, the Women Who Made a Difference Scholarship is funded by the Arizona Business and Professional Women's Foundation and from proceeds from sales of the book "Women Who Made a Difference." The award recipient must be a woman 20 years or older who is returning to school seeking better employment opportunities. Recipients must attend an Arizona college or community college.

The Sun Student Scholarship is awarded by the Phoenix Suns professional basketball team. Ten $1,000 awards are given annually to high school seniors with a 2.5 grade point average or better. A typed, 300 word essay and two letters of recommendation from school staff are required. The recipients must be active in volunteer services at school and in the community or be involved in charitable causes.

The University Senior and Master's Program Scholarship is funded by the Arizona CPA Foundation for Education. Recipients of the award must be accounting majors with a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Each year, two $2,000 scholarships are given to students at three universities: Arizona State University Main, University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University. Recipients must complete an official application, submit a resume and write a statement showing career goals in accounting.

The Arizona Board of Regents High Honors Tuition Scholarship is also called the AIMS Scholarship. It is administered by the Arizona Department of Education to students who exemplify outstanding academic merit. The award is for full in-state university tuition and begins the fall semester following high school. The funds are renewable yearly until graduation.

The Arizona Community College Scholarship provides four renewable $500 awards given annually to high school seniors. The students must attend community college full time and be U.S. citizens. The scholarship is awarded to students who have excelled in academics and are involved in service learning within the school and community.
