List of Scholarships for Hispanics

Finding funding for education is easy. Thanks to the generosity of private donors, corporations, schools, charitable funds and non-profit organizations, there are several resources available for Hispanic students. One excellent resource is the Hispanic Student Fund, a foundation dedicated to the advancement of Hispanics through education. The HSF has several scholarships for all levels of education, from high school seniors to graduate students.
  1. HSF/ General College Scholarship

    • The HSF/ General College Scholarships are offered annually to deserving Latino high school seniors and current college students. To qualify, you must: be a U.S. citizen of Hispanic heritage, have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and have intents to enroll full-time in an accredited college or university. The scholarship amount is between $1,000 and $5,000.

    HSF/ Atrisco Heritage Foundation Scholarship

    • The HSF/ Atrisco Heritage Foundation Scholarship is offered by the Hispanic College Fund in partnership with the Atrisco Heritage Foundation. To qualify, you must: be of Latino descent, have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, have a complete FAFSA, be an heir of the Atrisco Land Grant in New Mexico and be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university. The scholarship amount is $2,000.

    HSF/General Motors Scholarship

    • The HSF/General Motors Scholarship Program is offered by the HSF in partnership with General Motors. To qualify, you must: have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, be of Hispanic origin, complete the FAFSA, be enrolled full-time an in accredited college or university, be a U.S. citizen and be majoring in either business, engineering or human resources. The scholarship amount is $2,500.

    HSF/ Procter & Gamble Company Scholarship

    • The HSF/ Procter & Gamble Company Scholarship is offered by the HSF in partnership with Procter & Gamble, and is awarded to a deserving Latino undergraduate or graduate student. To qualify, you must: have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, be a U.S. citizen, be majoring in science, mathematics, technology or engineering and be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university. Additionally, you must reside in one of the following locations: Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina or Texas. The scholarship amount is $2,500.
