The National Association of School Psychologists founded the NASP-ERT minority scholarship program to offer disadvantaged minorities the opportunity to study school psychology. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be minorities who are full or part time students, citizens of the United States, and enrolled in an accredited NASP program. The NASP-ERT minority $5,000 scholarship is awarded to one minority student annually.

The US Department of Education offers Indian Education and Psychology Fellowships to any Native American who is a registered member of a tribe and wishes to major in guidance counseling or psychology. Applicants can be awarded funds from $600 to $24,000, and should contact the US Department of Education for more specific guidelines.

The University of Louisville offers Minority Psychology Scholarships to any African American student pursuing a psychology degree. Applicants are required to be students at the University of Louisville, maintain an overall 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA and a 3.5 out of 4.0 GPA in psychology courses, and submit an application and transcript to the University of Louisville for consideration. Applicants can receive up to $300.
