Western Governors University offers a scholarship program for registered nurses who plan to seek careers as nurse educators. To be eligible, you must have completed an associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing and be accepted into the master's in nursing education program. Selected students will receive up to $2,000 in scholarship funding. Awards are based on academic achievement and the applicant's potential to successfully complete the program.

Oregon Health and Science University sponsors the GAAN Scholarship (Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need) for nursing students enrolled in the school's doctoral program. The program is designed for those nursing students who plan to seek careers in nursing education. The Tufts Health Plan Foundation Nurse Scholars Program provides scholarship funding of up to $10,000 to Massachusetts residents who are pursuing graduate degrees at selected colleges and universities in-state. To apply, you must have completed at least four courses toward the completion of a master's or doctoral degree in nursing. All recipients must agree to work in a Massachusetts nursing education program for a period of one year after graduation.
