Scholarships in International Health

Students who are studying international health may be studying in their home country, but many choose to study abroad at least part of the time, in costly programs. Government aid may be available but often is not enough to cover these costs. Another solution is to seek scholarships geared for international health programs.
  1. Johns Hopkins Global Health Scholarship

    • This scholarship program is for students who want to pursue careers in global health. Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence. Each year, eight or nine students who attend the Bloomberg School of Public Health receive an award, according to the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health website. Those interested should express their desire for earning the scholarship in their admissions essay. The scholarship will help cover the costs of tuition for an 11-month program or a two-year program.
